Is this unusual? Has anybody ever seen these before? If so any info would be greatly appreciated.... especially any info as to when they will STOP washing ashore!

I am sorry that looks like a bird in your photo. Why are you trying to trick people? In all seriousness I saw a bunch of Port MOW's at the end of Nov and early Dec closer to Ft. Pickens. I am told they just wash up because of the tides.

lol @ the bird...

I had never seen a MOW before..... strangest looking things. I've since been reading about them and it seems they have a bad sting and can even be fatal. Hopefully there won't be too many in the water this summer!
