I am interested in seeing a flood map for the area of Ft Walton to Santa Rosa Beach. Does anyone know where I can view the flood areas?

Or can anyone suggest the best neighborhoods, to look for a house, that don't flood? I'm interested in neighborhoods as close to the beach as possible...I don't care about the traffic. I was told 1/4 mile from the Sound and 1/2 mile from the Bay, but I'm in Denver, so I need a good map, or list of nice residential neighborhoods to look at with. Looking for an updated or newer 3 bed room home.

I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks so much!

Thanks Ya'll!

Marty, I'm originally from New Orleans, but spent much of my life in Destin before Katrina. I have a ton of family and friends there. I came to Denver after Katrina, but miss the beach and the people. I'll contact you when I'm ready...Looking at spring. I have to sell my house here and get my son situated with college. My hope is that he will change his mind and wanna come with me, but he is 21 and into audio engineering / music production. Unfortunatly, probably not many jobs there in that.

Can't wait!
