This was posted on the local tv station's website today. I haven't been down to the beach to personally inspect.

With Hurricane Michael on the way,, hunker down, hope for the BEST and the BEST might be that Nature clears your Red Tide Problem, not just there, but everywhere in the Gulf of Mexico on the Sunshine State side.

Just there this past weekend and there appeared to be no red tide.

I never hear much about it on the local news, nor do I hear people talking about it. I hardly ever go down to the beach myself though, so don’t take my word as fact.
