We're planning a trip to Pensacola soon and wondered how the traffic status was for both bridges? We visited several years ago and as long as we avoided morning and evening rush hours we were able to get from Pensacola to Pensacola Beach without much trouble. Has construction for the new bridge adversely impacted traffic. Barring any accidents how long will it take to get from McGuires to the beach?

Hey, Madmom2000. I see no one has answered your question. It's been about 3 months since I was last on the bridge, but it was a-okay when we were there. By the way, I am unfamiliar with McGuires. Where / what is it? (The only McGuires I know about is an Irish pub, but I have a feeling that is not what you are referencing!)

McGuire's is a Pensacola landmark. It is an Irish pub and a great restaurant. There's also one in Destin.

Thank you Ansley Park. We were there at the end of May for a weekend. I was trying to gauge the travel time from McGuires to the beach to allow enough time to get to the event. I grew up in Gulf Breeze and lived in Pensacola for many years. Love to visit, wouldn't want to live there. That beach traffic is insane. Thank you though for responding. Mod can delete the post if they want. Doesn't seem to have much interest.
