As you can tell I definitely don't check this site too often. Thank you for the information, but she would have been born around 1949/1950. I also believe her first name is Louise, last name Jadi (like I said she could have a married name now). I also think their daughter's name is Jean (it could also be spelled Jeanne). Sorry I took so long to respond, but I do have an email address that I check all the time which might be an easier way to communicate.

Germans don't use the middle initial. I found one (!) that does in Germany. And at his age he should already be retired...
Herbert Meyer: Executive Profile & Biography - Businessweek

So this will really be hard. Meyer is a veeery common name anyway. And Herbert used to be a common name during the time he was born.
What you can do is write to the Einwohnermeldeamt Berlin (where everybody has to register). They will ask for money before they do anything and they will not garantee any results.

Good luck.

Hello. I am looking for a Heide Helga Rose. She was married to Gerald McChesney who was in the us air force.
Their son, my husband, Erich Gerald McChesney was born in San Bernardino, CA in 1973. She left the states sometime
In the late 80's (possibly) and Erich has not seen her since. He is not sure if she wants to be found by him but I think she must...
I think maybe her ex-husband, Gerald, kept the contact from happening...
I just found out she may have been an exchange student in Tacoma, WA back in 1962-63 at Lincoln High School.
Do you think you might be able to help us. I think her father may have been named Dirk (sp?) Rose. I am not sure where she is from. She lived with Gerald for years in the Air Force in Germany and Turkey.

Perhaps this one ( Häfele is a much more common name in Germany)

Werner Häfele Service und Industriemontage

77955 Ettenheim
Bundesrepublik Deutschland
Telefonnummer: (07822) 440301

PS: Häfele in German sounds the same as Hafele in English

I am looking for Hans Helmut Meloth. He is probably in his nineties if still alive. My mother, an old friend, (maiden name: Rose Roose from Bengen on the Rhine) is searching. They dated and were sweet on each other, but lost touch after the war when she went to America. I don't know where he would be or where to begin.
