I am looking for my biological father. I don't have much information, here's what I do know:

Name: Donald Fleming, I believe he was born in Kentucky.

At one time he was married to my Mother, Dorothy E. Smith, now Harrison

Name on my birth certificate: Donna Maria Fleming, born February 9, 1964 in Barstow California.

I had been told that some time ago he was thought to be in Arizona but all my efforts to search there, Kentucky and California have been unsuccessful. I was also told that I may have half-siblings out there, which is one of the main reasons I am searching. I have always wanted siblings but am an only child.

Do I have nieces and nephews? Grand-nieces and grand-nephews? I have 4 children and two grand-children.

You may wonder why I'm looking, mainly out of curiosity. Until a few years ago I figured, if Donald wanted to know anything about me, he would have looked. After all, my Aunt Phyllis has lived in the same house all these years. I wasn't angry about it, but a bit disappointed. Now, enough time has passed and I am at an age where I would like to know more about where I came from.

I don't want anything from this other than to get to know Donald and any other family I may have out there. I have all kinds of memories and family history from my Moms' side, and from my step/adoptive-fathers' side, I'd like to know something of the Flemings.

Please don't send me info or links for People finders, I don't have the money for that otherwise I would have gone through them already.

do You Have An Approx Age? I Found A Marriage In Nevada For A Donald R Fleming And A Dorothy E. Smith On July 1, 1963.

That is the right marriage license, thank you. I need to send to Nevada to try and get a copy. As for Donald's age, I believe he would be 62-64.

Does Your Mother Have Any Other Kind Of Info...like Did He Have Brothers Or Sisters? Where And When Did They Divorce?

Thank you so much for your interest in my search. I believe that is him. I know he was from Kentucky and the we had even stayed with his family there for a short time when I was an infant. Also he had at least one brother that my Mother had told me about. I know I need to ask her some questions, it's just that I didn't want to upset her. Years ago when she offered to tell me about him I told her that Donald was a stranger and that I knew all about my "dad" (step-dad).

My step/adoptive father was a wonderful man and he passed away in 1995, I have been reluctant to tell her about me current interest in finding Donald. I suppose I should just take a deep breath and give her a call.
