I have an old friend whose name is John Kissel. I lost touch with him years ago, we were very close like brother and sister. A mutual friend had contact with him in February 2010, but hasn't heard from him since then. He used to live in Coon Rapids, MN, but unsure where he has been lately. He is approx 50 yrs old. I don't know what sites I should look on to try to locate an address or phone number for him. anyone have any ideas?

You may try facebook. I just searched and found quite a few, though I don't know what he looks like phsyically, nor know if he may have moved to a different city.

I went to anywho.com and typed in his name and just put MN for the state. There are a couple of them, including one in Anoka. Yahoo also has a "people search" feature, but I have found that anywho is better.

Here is what looks like his father's obituary from 2007. It shows his children's names. There are a lot of them, so it should probably be fairly easy to find him through one of them. Another search showed both your friend John and his father's name associated with an address in Minneapolis (504 113 Ave. NW). Yet, another website showed that house sold in 2008.
