My Fiance' is an adoptee (born 12/5/1978 in Jackson, Mississippi) and we are trying as hard as we can to find his birth father. Jer's birth mother was Nancy Ann Jackson and we are aware of one sibling from her. She wants nothing to do with him so we know we can't get any medical information from her but, at the age of 31, Jer is having heart problems and now we are wondering about his father's side of the family and possible medical history. We are getting married in November and I would love to give him any kind of information before then. This man may not know he has a son. Everyone kids Jer about being Adam Savage's (from Mythbusters on Discovery) twin because they look so much alike. Even if he wants nothing to do with us after we find him, we would like medical history for Jer's children. To know where he came from. Jer's never really has had that. If his birth father would like a relationship with him, that would be even better

I'm sorry the BM won't give you any information.
Best I can suggest is you add his info at the reunion site & hope someone stumbles across it.
I found a few Nancy A Jackson's on Intelius but am unsure of the age.

He was told by his adoptive mother that the birth mother didn't want any contact so we are trying to get ahold of the adoption agency to find out for sure. I am crossing my fingers that they at least have a last known address or some other information that can point us in the right direction

You can't go by what his adoptive mother told you. 1. She may have made it up, out of fear of losing him. 2. If it was true 31 years ago, it may not be true today. People change.

He is entitled to his family medical information and more, under Mississippi law. Read here:

Thank you so much! He said he saw the papers when he was too young to do anything about the information but it was his adoptive mother's copy. I agree with not going by what she told him, especially since he will never know if his birth mother even knows who his birth father is. There was no name put on the original birth certificate so finding her is almost a requirement at this point.
