The long and short of it, is that my mother-in-law had pretty wild younger days and wound up with 5 kids from 3 diff men. With the exception of my GF, all the other kids know/spend time with their bio dads.
Because my GF resembles her Bio-dad and apparently mom HATED him (after giving birth of course), she projected that hatred onto her daughter.

After asking around, many of the people that knew her dad, said he was a pretty decent guy (and anyone that knows her mom, would know excactly why he left!), so she is very interested in finding him, or anything about him. As usual, Mom will divulge nothing.

Here are the particulars,

Father's name : Emmanuel Hernandez (no middle name listed)
DAD DOB : 1965 nothing else listed on B.C
Mother's Name : Phyllis Shephard (or Rhefeld)
MOM DOB : 1963
Daughter's Name : Karissa Hernandez
Daughters DOB : 1985
This all took place in Brooklyn, NY

We are hearing the the Dad, fathered 2 more children (that we know about), a Son named Jeremy Natale (took the mom's last name) and a daughter that's in California that we know nothing about.

We've heard that Jeremy lives/lived somewhere in long island, ny, and he should be in his very early 20's
i dont know what town in LI, i dont know what high school, i dont know if anyone had a record or if there were any legal marraiges.

In case it helps There has been a persistent rumor floating around that the father died (this info came from her mom, so we have NO idea how truthful it is), but we've found no death certs, and he at least lived long enough to father 2 more kids.

i would be VERY happy if i could help her on her search. Thank you all for any assistance you can provide.

I see four with the name Jeremy Natale on Facebook. The link below will bring you to them.
I also checked rootsweb and didn't see anyone who passed away born in 1965 with the name Emmanuel Hernandez .

i appreciate the effort, we've already conducted the usual searches of facebook, myspace, 411.com, obvious things like that.

i've also checked for convictions and the FBI, but i dont know how/where to search for birth cirts, school records, licenses, etc.

as an extra, the son's name is jeremy emmanuel natale. and unfortunately, the only name i can confirm is spelled correctly is emmanuel since thats how it is on my wife's BC.

i found the chicago ones before, the jeremy from upstate is new, i'll give him a shot.
i've confirmed that the dad was born in brooklyn, so i guess i have to keep my searches narrowed down to nyc and long island.
