I did also post on the Texas site. I have an elderly friend who is looking for her birth father (he would probabaly be dead due to his probable age). She had a Court Order to get her original birth certificate in Austin, but a lawyer showed up and blocked her- at least that is her story- she is older and a bit 'flighty'. Can anyone tell me the laws in Texas? Thanks
