Bruce A. Milbury is said to have passed away last December. I do not know why, when, or where he is located. I am his brother. I do not know any of his friends in Los Angeles. He lived in Torrance Calif. His apartment manager said he was told he passed away as well, but does not know any thing other than that. Anyone with information or any way I can find out would be appreciated. It seems like he just disappeared.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I would think if you presented your birth certificate with your mother's name on it and it matched his mother's name on the death certificate you should have no problems obtaining a death certificate. I know when I went to Los Angeles to obtain a copy of my mother's death certificate it was very stressful: parking, extremely long lines and then a hundred questions at the window. They can search dates and different last names, you just have to ask them. Good luck!

Have you checked where he worked? Is he this Bruce Milbury? I found this on a website that lists donations for Obama. It's from the end of 2008, so it's old. I hope you can find out what happened to him.
