Okay looking for information on Carl Harry Sullivan. I have very little information.
From what I know He married Jean Charlott Pfost and had one child Carl Larry Sullivan (my grandfather). I know he was in the military, but no one knows what branch. Theres a picture somewhere with him in is uniform. They had lived in Simlia, Elbert County, Colorado. I have looked in the cemetery for his grave marker but its not there...so any help at all would we greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Okay I got the middle name wrong...is Carl Henry Sullivan

I found a Carl H Sullivan born in Kansas 18 Dec 1918, living in Elbert County, Colorado by 1920. Parents James H and Elsie M. Sullivan. Older siblings Lester D Sullivan, Fred R Sullivan and Albert Sullivan. Albert is not listed in 1930 census - may have died. James was a farmer.
Carl enlisted in the Army as a private, 30 June 1944, Fort Logan, Arapahoe County. At the time of enlistment he had a grammar school education and "unskilled miscellaneous occupations." He was listed as divorced, with dependents.
There was a later marriage to Myrtle Mary Snyder. He lived in several towns in Michigan at some point. (Saint Helen, Prescott, Standish and Oxford)
SS Death Index shows he died 21 Jun 2003 in Coleman, Texas. The US Veterans Gravesite Index shows he is buried in Coleman City Cemetery, Coleman, TX 76834. They list his service as US Army Air Forces World War II. This index confirms the middle name is Henry. Address directories also confirm the middle name.
Jean C Pfost was born about 1923 in Colorado - Parents Dempsey E and Grace M Pfost from Missouri. Younger brother Bobby Ray. In 1930 lived in Englewood, Arapahoe County, Colorado. Dempsey was a Pattern Storage Manager for an ironworks company.
