I was born on a military base in Albuquerque (I probably spelled that wrong) New Mexico in 1965.
I have never met my birth father as far as I can remember.
My Mother just told me the story, so please, if you are related, or know where he is , he is supposed to be named John Gordon, or have any ideas?
Thank you.

She won't tell you anymore about him? That is a very common name. Can you contact the base to inquire? Surely, there must be some records somewhere. What does your birth certificate say? Do you know his age?

That is basically all I know. The base wont tell me anything. She was married at the time, she had an affair, then the man she was married to said he would raise me, so his name is on the birth certificate, I guess he is my step dad now, but in my heart he is my Dad. He probably is around 80, my Mom is. John "Waxy" Gordon. Played the bass fiddle. In the military.Thats it. Sigh.

Yes. I find that pretty funny too. Also the nickname of a blues / jazz musician. But I dont think either one of them were nearby NM in 1965. :-)
