Hi my name is Christine, and I've been searching for my biological Father for many years. All I know is I was born in Orlando, Florida at Florida East Hospital on Lake Underhill Rd. I know his name is Charles Taber. He was not married to my Mother they were just dating and shortly after my birth they split up. Never to hear from him again. It's probably a long shot but any leads for be greatful!!
Thanks,
Christine

Christine,
I don't know anything about your birth father but I'd be happy to help. I need more information. Contact me privately.

I'm guessing he would be in his late 70's or early 80's by now. I was told he was a much older man when I was born. I have no idea what his middle name was. I was told my birth Father's Mother lived or was from Arizona. My Mother is still alive and will refuse to give me any info. I'm relying on my Aunt to give me any info. That is my Mom's sister. She remember's my birth Father, however she was only 10 years old the last time she saw him, so that was 24 years ago.
Also I was adopted by my step father when I was 4 years old. I was born with the last name Taber, but when I was adopted it became Bordwell. My step Dad will sign to release my orginal birth certificate however my Mother wont!
Good for your stepfather. Does your mother talk about her reasons for not wanting you to search for him ? Good luck with your search and maybe your Mom will come around.

No my Mom has never mentioned him at all. No reasons, no nothing!

Your mother is advancing in age.
Ask one of her friends, or one of her siblings, etc. to approach her.
And they can tell her, that while both of you are living, she should tell you about your bioligical father.
As a matter of importance to you, and more important than the physical things she might leave you in her will.
Maybe your Mother will see, that she needs to tell you, before it is too late.
Or, think of someone who she would have told.
Then maybe that person will quietly get the details to you.
