01-31-1944 a airfight took place over Nuenen. the Netherlands between 2 U.S. P 38 Lightnings and 13 german Messerschmidts. The U.S. pilots died in action. One of them was D. Steiner.
Is it possible that anybody give me information about D. Steiner. P-38 pilot of the U.S. Army Air Forces
There is not much left at Blackwolf, two, maybe three occupied dwellings and the Co-op Grain Elevator. I would suggest trying to contact the Ellsworth County Geology web or historical society. Glen
Hello!
I am Laurie Steiner Cooke, niece to Delorn Steiner who was shot down as a pilot of a P-38 Fork Tail Devil on Jan. 31, 1944 over the Netherlands. Our family originated in Black Wolf, Kansas. My apologies for the tardiness of this reply, however my brother just found it. What would you like to know about my uncle?
