Does anyone know some reasonable way I could locate my godfather and mother's best friend in the world? My Mother died a year ago, she had lost contact with Sam whose real name is Robert Allen Fisher, wife-Helen Fisher....He was last in Boonesboro, Maryland. I found a card written to my Mother stated he planned on moving to Ontario. I have paid for private search (one of those people finder type services) and have done a ton of other things to no avail. It is urgent I find him. Any suggestions? He is normally listed as R.A. Fischer.

Could this be him? Is he around 79 years old? This man was in Boonsboro and it appears his relative his Helen. If this is him, I'm sorry to say it appears he passed away:

Run his name and birthdate at the link above and it will show Robert Allen Fisher, born 9/18/31 passed away 3/7/10. Last address of record was Gainseville, FL. His SS# was issued in Illinois.

His wife, Helen, may still be alive, though. I did not find a death listing for her. There is an address and phone number for her listed under his name in Gainesville:
