I'm not sure what kind of people searching this community does, but might as well ask.

My father, through an online auctioning website, sold an electric scooter to a man from Baton Rouge... Robbie Giroir. We recieved the money from him, but he never came for the scooter, and hasn't responded to phone calls or e-mails.

Like I said, I don't know if users here have some greater power in finding people, or if they just run names through a search engine and post the results... Well, let me know if I can post this mans name, and if anyone can find out if he's moved or anything like that, because we can't get in touch with him. (Sorry for the long post, don't know if I'm supposed to include so much information.)

Yes You Can Post Names And Any Other Information You Might Have. Of Course You Would Not Post Account Numbers Or Things Like That. If He Mailed You A Check, You Might Contact The Bank. There Could Be All Kinds Of Reasons He Didn't Show.

I don't know what else we can do now. He called the Baton Rouge police, but they couldn't help. The coroner told him he wasn't dead... I can't think of anything left besides going directly to his house, but being in Connecticut, that doesn't seem very likely...

Maybe you could try to find the names of the next door neighbors through tax records and try to contact them to see if they know anything.

Robbie Giroir is the choir director at Baton Rouge High School. I would start there.

Here is the e-mail address if it is the same person being looked for. A token e-mail can find that out.
