Default Looking for information on TSGT Thomas Gilbert (Gil) Ramsey

I am looking for any and all information on one TSGT Thomas Gilbert (Gil) Ramsey. He sereved in Vietnam and may have went to Arizona after returning to the U.S. I also believe he had 3 children born after 1973. I was informed that he had 1 son and 2 daughters but havnt been able to conferm this. If anyone could help by posting on here or send me an e-mail with any information it would be greatly appreciated. God Bless All Who Have Served to Defend Our Freedoms

God bless you for your support of our servicemen and women!

There are lots of options available. First, if you're a relative of TSgt Ramsey you may be able to locate him through the VA. I'm not familiar with how they handle these kind of things, or how close of a relative you have to be, but if you are and can prove it through documentation... they may be able to help you. At the very least they can point you in the right direction.

If the above is true then you can also check with the VFW or American Legion. He may be a member. Also, if you're a veteran yourself and are a member of either group then that may accelerate the process.

The Air Force Association and Air Force Sergeants Association are other useful sources of potential info. I was with AFA for a long time and they keep a master list of all members available for access, both at their headquarters and in a directory they publish every year. Not sure about AFSA.

And then of course there is Google and links to different people search sites. One trick you might try is an advanced Google search. Here's the quick and easy way to do it: Type in the search bar (without quotes) the following:

What that will do is show any and all sites on the net with a ".mil" domain having sergeant Ramsey's name in them. You can do it with any site and domain you wish. Very handy tool.

Hope this helps.

Also... Note to all future posters: If you have an e-mail for KBeaver please send it to him via private message. This thread is public. Thank you.
