Gary Lee ? (Barry T Minnich) was born in Virginia Beach, Va in 1966, his mother was 21 and was a caterer, his father was 25 worked in a hotel kitchen. In 1967 his father left the household. His mother did not think she could care for the young boy and his two older sister and gave Gary Lee to Paul and Juanita Readd. Shortly after that the Readds moved to Piqua OH. In 1970 the Readds divorced. Mrs Readd (Nelson) move back to Virginia. Barry was given to Mrs Readd (Nelson...) sister. In 1970 Virginia Beach family service contacted Miami County family service, Barry’s Mother was inquiring about his well bring. When Miami County family service got involved, things had to be made legal, Gary Lee was considered an abandoned child. He was given to Mrs Readd’s sister who was unable to adopted Gary Lee, then Gary Lee was placed in foster care, until adopted on 5/3/1972 when his name was changed to Barry Thomas Minnich.
We also, was told he has a half sister born in 1970. We appreciate everyone help. We believe his siblings and parents are still in Virginia Beach VA. We are looking to get in touch with Paul Lee Readd.
