I am looking for my sister! i have never met her..but i got some info on her..she was born in chambers county, AL around 1977/78..at the time of her birth she was tooken away from my mother..my mother said her name was hope ballard? but it may have been changed..I highly doubt if she is still in alabama..but idk...please help me if you can..until then i will ask more questions.
My mother/Her mother maiden name is Linda Faye Ballard

I'm sorry, but that's not enough info for a good search. I find a 34 year old Hope Elaine Ballard Garner in Ohio, but that is a wild shot because it's almost certain her last name was changed when she was taken (adopted?) as a baby.

You really don't have enough information for us to search for her. You would at least need to get an exact birthdate from your mother. What you should do is join the registry at adoption.com.

Also, it's very important that you put an email address in your profile. Then set your profile options to notify your email when someone posts on this thread. Often in these situations where we can't help you, the person you are searching for might google their name and find the post. It can take years before this happens, and often by the time the person comes to the thread, we can't find the person who started the thread. So it's very important that you keep the email current and check back occasionally.
