The 434 N Bedford St in La Habra sounds like it could be it. Since it was mentioned in the original post. Is there a reverse address search that can show all the people that lived at that address? Specifically a man with the first name Martin :~)

I doubt she would give me his last name as his first, since most search's will look for both regardless of which is first or last. anyway, i will ask her if he had a latino name but i doubt it... mainly cuz i dont look any thing Spanish at all.

Edit: Also, it was an apartment building. they never lived in the same apartment. he lived "around the corner" from her, i think. so it would have to be a neighbor search type of thing.
