I just want to say thank you to all of you who do such a service to these military men and their families. My father-in-law was in WWII and was at Auschwitz - I know my husband would be so touched if anyone found anything of his father's (whom he adored).

Kudos to you all for attempting to reunite families and their memories.

Today I received a mail from Marty Whittaker the daughter of Martha Clark Ross. She confirmed that Martha is the sister of Emmett P Clark. Martha was surprised and very happy with my letter. In the future I will keep in contact with Marty.

I wait for the other responses to the mails.

My name is Kacie Lee Farrar, daughter of Russell B Farrar (1955). Granddaughter of Russell B Farrar (1916). I think it would be very cool if this was my grandfathers mess-tin!

I wish you could find something on my grandfather! His WW2 records burned up in a fire, basically all the Army Air Corps records were lost. So, all I have on his service is what little he told my father, uncle, & grandmother, & what little information I could get from his enlistment & a few other records plus I know he served in both the 8th & 13th (I have his patches).

Hello Lander, I also commented on your post in the WWII forum. I know both forum posts of yours date back a few years, so I'm hoping you see this response. I have never used a forum before and do not really know how it works, but I was wondering if you found anyone claiming the items of FRANK SANTURBANE/SANTURBANO. My grandmother is his first cousin and we have been searching for years. Please let me know what you have found and if you still have the relics. Thank you!
