Hi Missouri,

I am seeking information about one of my gr gr grandfathers.
He was: Edward R. Burton born October 1820 in Mercer county Ky.
Records say he died in Gower,Clinton County Missouri on
December 31,1903. Would anyone in Gower have information
about this man or any lists of cemeteries that were around back
then? Or maybe someone is related to this man.
I would like to find his grave site.
He was married to Sophia Bradshaw and had
several children who were born in Missouri.
I would also like to see some old pictures of
Gower if anyone would like to share.
Any help would be appreciated .
My gr grandmother Sarah E Burton is buried at
Fort Knox Ky. on or near Ft Knox shooting range.

James W Buton had four wives the last was Bird, guess he took her as a fourteen year old to take care of the children by the first three wives.
They settled in and around Moberly Mo..in Clifton Hills and Hutsville

I believe Edward was one of James W. Butons children ...
