Hello: My name is Burl Osborne. I am looking for my lost love from the 70's. It has been over thirty year since I have spoken to her. She is only a shadow in my minds eye. I can not recall her name, her hair. I have lost a lot of my memory but she stands out. I just now have found the courage to attempt to find her. I want to say that I am sorry. This past week I was listening to the radio and heard a song by Adele - Someone like you. The shadow came to life. But her face was not there. I do wish her only the best.

I, only know that she did live in San Antonio, TX. I do know that she lived near the air base, as I walked to her house when I had time off. I was so angry as a young man, but she came to my aid. I was transferred to new York and later to a overseas base. I really never came home after the war. I move to new York and work as a police officer.

Unfortunately, without a name it will be pretty much impossible for anyone here to help you...

I am tryin to do the same thing, but you must know,if you do get some information, you may not like what you hear,so be prepared to hear bad news.I have a post up here about a lost love, and the reason I started posting is that I had learned that she was homeless, strugling with addiction, and had possibly been beaten abd raped within the last month.I have her name and possible location. And now I'm really concerned about Her.Just be prepared for bad news.

I had a similar quest but the initial search was not going well. Havent seen her in 30 years. I only know her first name and former married name. I know her age but not her actual birthday. I did an initial search about 10 years ago and got nothing. She is either deceased or living abroad, decided its best to leave it be.

I must try, even if I fail. I think I have her first name, in my medical records. Last name is unreadable. She may have work at the air base with the hospital, as a Social worker.
