I was born on 10/02/1964 at St. Francis Hospital, Bronx, NY.
My birth name was Bernard. I was placed for adoption by the NY Foundling.
I was in Foster care until age 3. Possibly with the Murphy family. It is the name I have on a Baptism card.
I have Light Brown hair, Hazel eyes. I am 6'2".
You knew me, or at least my foster parents, you sent me a birthday card on my first Birthday. Are you still there? Do I have any other siblings?

I'm sorry, but I see this sort of thing a lot on this forum. I'm sorry you have to go through life not knowing the truth. What an unfair and cruel way of treating a person. I hope things are different nowadays. Good luck to you. I hope you find the right avenue to lead you to the answers you rightly deserve. Hopefully someone here has some suggestion or perhaps someone is looking for you and will find this forum in a search.
Thank you ecam222! I was adopted by a wonderful couple who also had 3 other adopted children. I was granted a beautiful life. If anything, I just want to say thank you and let them know I am okay. It took a lot of courage to do what she did, and if I have siblings, I would love to meet them. Even if I never find her/them, I want them to know I am happy.
That is wonderful, mbCunningham. I'm sure there are all sorts of circumstances. It's the agencies that withhold information that bothers me. I suppose you've already tried this: Records Information
Tried the records information, didn't get me very far. I have posted almost everywhere hoping one day someone would read it and find me. I know the chance is one in billions, but at least I know in my heart that I never stopped thinking about her and any possible brothers or sisters I may have.
My wife works for a doctor who cares for the Sisters of Charity. One of them was working for the Foundling when I was sent to foster care. My wife explained that I wanted to also find the foster parents that cared for me. (They saved everything from my first haircut to my first words etc....) My wife spoke with Sister M. today after work, I will have to call her back on Monday to get the info she finds. She was VERY helpful, and really wanted to help. Although she did say that the foster parents I was assigned to may be deceased as they were an older couple when I was placed with them. I will keep you updated.
Wonderful...would be great if she comes through for you!
