Looking for a James Elmer Dugger born in the late 1890's. spent time in Nevada, moved accross the sothern part of the United States to unknown location. Last know area, New Mexico. Worked as a cook and other assorted jobs. Probably mined or served mining camps near Winemucca, Nevada and Tonopah, Nevada (1940's)

Update - may have been born 1-6-1892 in Illinois. 1940 Cencus shows him in Beatty Nevada. May have enlisted in the military shortly after the start of the war. may have retuned from Japan in 1942 and spent time in Oregon.

A lot of men named James E. Dugger born in the 1890's. Have you tried searching at www.familysearch.org It's a free site with census and many other records.

Do you have any other info on James, i.e. wife's name, or parents names?

this is all that I have other than registrations for the war(s) and some possible passenger manafests from Japan to the US. I believe he was born in Illinois, location unknown - possibly Knox County. Still checking with them. Was a cook
