I found a number of listings for Archie Leslie crossing the border on a car ferry from Windsor, Ontario to Detroit, Michigan. There were no listings of him crossing from Detroit to Canada though. Also found a listing for Archie Leslie, 292 Cass Ave, Michigan, states he was an Autoworker. If any of this seems to match up there was more info there.

You really need to give more specific info such as his possible age, marriage, children or anything else that would match him to info.

Scroll down to the obituary for Archie Leslie. Sure looks like him - lived in Southfield MI and had a sister named Bessie Belsky...

Oakland County, Michigan Obituary Collection - 85

Bessie passed in 2005.

Try tracing Archie back through census, old city directories, etc. If he was naturalized than those papers should give you good info. Vital records are good sources to find parents names and place of birth.

Mike0618:
From another source, I too find the same Mr. Leslie, found by ElizNJ, who died in 2001.

I also see that he was a retired railroad employee.
If you can connect the dots, from that profession, to your Grandfather, then maybe that is him.

From the obituary you find 3 males, one of which is a son Lawrence. Is he your Father?

The other two are grandson Michael, and great grandson Aaron.
Those last two should be alive and well and easy to locate.
