I am writing from Croatia (Split town). I am looking for my relative Eva Grgic.I know that she lived in Richmond, and that her father is Luka Grgic. They are from Croatia. I hope someone can help me. Thanky you.

MaryBB, thank you for answering. Maybe EVA is croatian name, so it should be EVE. The suname is GRGIC, maybee GRGICH. I don't know anything else.

I am researching GRGIC-GRGICH name. My Dide was Mate Grgich. he was born Vlaka Croatia. His father was Ivan Grgich his mother was Ruza Grgich. There was a brother called Marko and possibily more brothers/sisters.

Mate and Marko migrated to Australia. Mate married my Baba, Mare Sunde. He father was Simun Sunde and her Mother was Antica Erceg.

Have you tried placing this notice in the ZAJEDNICAR? That's the official newspaper of the Croatian Fraternal Union based in Pittsburgh,PA. It is mailed weekly to thousands of CFU members throughout the US and Canada, so you would reach many people of Croatian heritage. (I frequently see notices similar to yours in the "Z"). One of the readers might be able to help you.
