I am trying to fill in some gaps in the family tree of my grand-mother, Beatrice Alice Caroline Smith. Beautiful name.

She had 5 sisters, two of whom emigrated to North America. These were:

Daisy Mary and Louisa. They were born in 1895 and 1884 respectively.

Lou married Augustus John Compton and their daughter Daphne Mona Compton married Sidney(?) Orpwood. Daisy married Arthur Leslie Hobbs and they had 2 children, Lenore and Gordon. Lenore married Donald Thomas and their children must be about my age (64).

I think that these families should still be in the Portland Oregon area and I would like to find one of them that is also interested in family history to swap information.

I hope that someone reading this posting will know someone who fits the bill and i would be pleased to get in touch by email.
