My mother Marie Lingenfelter was born and raised in Claysburg, PA and as a child we visited her siblings frequently. Now her grandson wants to go see his roots. Are there any Lingenfelters in Claysburg? I have the family Snowberger Bible and would return it to the historical society. Aunt Sally (wife of Clair Lingenfelter)said it belongs there. Also, the history of these people in this region is enlightening to all of us progeny. Is anybody out there?
