I'm sending you a possible address.
It's a William Curtis Jones with a Camden, S.C. address.

Camden is actually in Kershaw County.
And Kershaw happens to be in Lancaster County, but Camden and Kershaw are only 20+ miles away.

I see the "Grantor" says William Curtis Jones & Marlene. Would this be the sellers? (Mom and Dad) "Grantee" being son?

You would be correct.
Grantor is the seller.
And the seller could have been the estate of ".............."

Also look at the date of the sale: 1995
The house was sold to the current owner, or he inherited it.

Is there anything else you can find out about william and marlene? Age? Birthdates? Is there anything you can find with his name in Columbus GA? He could have been here longer than just 88-89...that's just when I know he was here. He usually went by Bill.

I'm not seeing anything quickly in Columbus. Zero in on the locations given to you by nj185 and the document you were sent. Why would a William and Marlene sell the house to their son, if that is who the current owner is?
Maybe they wanted to move to another state.
Maybe they wanted the house out of their name for tax reasons or to avoid having to pay a lawyer for a will, etc.
If you are certain your Father was born in 1939, then the date of sale of that house was when he was age 56.
A little young to be selling your house to your son who would have been age 38 or under.
But, all sorts of scenarios are possible.

-----------
The Columbus Library has a genealogy department and they have the 1989 Polk & Co. City Directory, which is a reference book not a phone book. Go there and look up your Father's name. They have the 1989 book but not the 1990 book. They have the 1991 book forward to this year. Look up the names you have such as William, Marlene, and Christopher Jones. Write down the addresses if you get any. If you have an address use the address section to look up the address and you'll be told the names of the people who lived at that address.
