Trying to locate my biological father and need help! (children, daughter, old)

I was born 6/5/1979. My biological father is between 49-52 years of age. He briefly dated my mother, than Carolyn Holman. His name is Jeff Payne. Tons of them across the US. I don't know his middle name. I know he has a brother named John and his mother, Judy, passed a few years ago.
She lived in Dayton, OH when she died. Her obituary said that he lived in Pensacola, FL.I called every Jeff Payne listing I could find. That's been about 5 years ago. Even called some of the family that was mentioned in his mother's obituary to ask them about his whereabouts. Nothing. So frustrating.
His mother's name was Julia A. Wiseman of Kettering, OH. She died in 2006 from cancer. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Cecil) Smith of West Carrollton, OH; sons Jeffrey (Jackie) Payne and John Payne of Pensacola, FL. It also lists her brother Bill and his wife Peg Sorrell as survivors. I have contacted Peg Sorrell throughout the years and she knows nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I met Jeff when I was 15...twice. And that was the last I heard from him. I don't feel that I will ever rest until I find him. I go on this mission at least 3 to 4 times a year and no luck...so frustrating.
Hi There...I feel your pain. I was adopted at birth and am biologically a Gebo. I did find my mother and her children, but she won't disclose the name of my dad. It's one of those mysteries that haunts me also. Do you have ancestry or have you tried mylife.com yet? Good luck!

Even I am looking out for my biological father who left us 34 years back. I live in Mumbai,India. He use to be here only. I was 6yrs old then. His name is V.Nagarajan Iyer and he is born on 31/1/1945. Please if anybody happens to know any whereabouts about him do let me know.
