I am posting this question on this forum instead of geneology, because I am curious if any descendants are still in Lehigh Valley.

I am looking for descendants of Johann Jacob Altman, born 9. Feb. 1699, and his wife Anna Maria (maiden name Eisenmann), born 17. Feb. 1701. They were married 22 Feb 1723 in Herbitzheim, Bah-Rhin, Alsace France. Herbitzheim is less than 7 miles from the present day French-German border. They emigrated through Philadelphia in 1749, aboard the ship Phoenix. They had 8 children (3 sons, 5 daughters) in Europe, but there seem to be records of only two sons who came with them to America.

Johann Wilhelm Altman, born. November 14, 1724
Johann Peter Altman, born. June 27, 1735,

They seemingly both died on 20. Mar. 1775 in their mid 70's and are buried in Saint Paul's Union Cemetary 787 Almond Rd Walnutport, PA 18088.

I am descended from the oldest son who married a woman with the surname Stahl. The younger son married a woman with the surname Eisenman in Northampton County. As the name is the same surname of his mother's maiden name, he may have been marrying a 1st,2nd, or 3rd cousin.

Both brothers fought in the revolutionary war, and both moved to Westmoreland County in Western PA.

=============
The graveyard was established in 1762 so the husband and wife were in the first group of burials. However, they are buried in different rows roughly 50 yards apart. It seems unusual if they actually died on the same day.
