Hi :-) My name is Jeannette Bari and I was born in Mineral County Hospital on March 20th, 1971 to my Biological Mother (BM) Arlene Bari (age 18 who attended and graduated from Mineral County HS) and my mystery Biological Father (BF) is McKinnie, Robert USMC.


My BF and BM made a connection in NAD Hawthorne NV at least May / July of 1970 resulting in my conception though he is not listed on my birth certificate. Because he was in the Military, he may have been stationed on base or he could have been on a temporary assignment.


The only reference to my BF comes by way of my adoption papers from my Adoptive Father (AF) which states that (McKinnie, Robert USMC) cannot be reached to contest the adoption as he is deceased.


A small reference is that Robert McKinnie signed my BM's Mineral HS Yearbook as “Bob” and if he in fact was deceased prior to my birth, then had to have passed away between May / July of 1970 through the end of March 1971.


It would seem as though I should be able to talk with my BM and AF who I enjoy a great relationship with, to the exception of discussing ANY information relating to my conception (ie. BF, his demise, or any other information). It is simply a no go conversation.


I want to find out about my dad and if I may have any siblings – there is just a huge void in my life and I desire the connection. A long time ago I ran across a search angel who found the BM of an adopted friend of mine and I so wish I could reach out to her again for my own search. Granted she arrived with a cost but it was gladly borne unto my dear friend. Turns out her BF passed away and she has 3 sisters who mirror her image.
