{THREADS MERGED... See additional info in posts below}
Hello,

I am looking for a brother I have never met. My father was able to give me limited information before he died. His name is Michael Eugene Collins. He was stationed in Berlin ( I have that info just not with me) and met Ingeborg Zelli (zel, Zell, sel, Selli) not sure. She had a sister named Gabriele and their family owned a helicopter parts store that sold to the military. Gabrielle was a teacher. So this child was born before me around 1970,71,72 and my father who was already back here in the states was told my the MP's. He of course never did anything about it and now I get to look. He has 2 sisters, 1 bother, a grandmother still alive and 5 nieces and nephews. I know this is a long shot but if you can help I would love it,. I have been looking for years. Dad died in 2008 and I have been searching non stop sinc then.

Post Small update in search of German HALF brother born in 1973-1974

Hello again,

Recently I came into contact with a lady that does these searches for. She thinks she may have found the mother in Berlin however I have written a letter and no response. I am back to searching on my own. OK so some new information is my father was stationed in Germany from 1971-1973. This means the child would have been born probably in 1974, but quite possibly at the end of 1973. We have narrowed the name down to what we think may be zelle o zeller. At times it is spelled with a c. My father also mentioned he had been station in Bavaria too. Hi birth-date is Jun 11, 1954 and he left the military disabled. Again I know this is such a long show but I really want to find him or at least know i tried.

Nancy
