My biological father left before I was born, never to be seen or heard from again. I'm 34 and would like to be reconnected before he passes away. His name is William Macomber and is approximately 80 years of age. He was married and lived in California where I have two much older siblings, Mark and Roxanne. I was born in Maine and this is where my mother met and lived with him. I have no other information on him. My mothers maiden name is Lebel, but I'm not sure if that matters as they were never married. If anyone has any information on how or where to find my father, it would be greatly appreciated.

William P. Macomber, born Dec. 19, 1932, died Dec. 19, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. From Social Security Death Index. Might be the right one, sorry. Will keep looking.

I'll send you info on a woman who was connected with the William P. Macomber that Roberta Jennings found for you. Maybe this woman can help you out. Check your inbox.

I suggest obtaining his death certificate, this site has info on how to get a Clark County death record:
Death Certificates - Southern Nevada Health District

The cert should state where he is buried, and the funeral director, among other things. You can then contact the cemetery and/or funeral director to find out who made the arrangements. It might have been a family member, or friend.
