I am looking for my cousin who we've not seen or heard from in almost 30 years. He last visited his parents at their camp site at Navarro Mills Lake in Texas and he hasn't been seen or heard from since. His parents are James Woodrow Perkins (deceased) and Mary Faye Knotts-Perkins. His parents lived in Rendon, TX for many years until James passed away. I believe David was born in 1963 but I'm not positive. He attended Mansfield, TX public schools. David has a brother, James Ray Perkins and a sister Linda Faye Perkins-Short. Neither of them nor any of the rest of the family have heard from him. We aren't even sure if he's even alive. Please, if anyone can help us find David, we'd appreciate it. I've searched every online site I could find short of the ones you have to pay for as I've found many of those to be a rip off.

Mr Bill:

How in the world were you able to get his DOB??? I checked with my sister and you are correct Jan 24, 1962. Please let me know anything else you find. I think we are close. It's been so long and I am so hopeful that we can bring him back into the family fold. Last we heard he was traveling with a carnival

OK, Mr Bill:

Read your post again and realized you said his birthday was in Feb not Jan like my sister said but you both had the same day. Still trying to reach his sister to confirm the DOB. Thanks a ton for your help. Still searching

It is Jan -24-1962. I just re-checked it. Don't know why I typed Feb. since I copied it down as Jan.

Good link MrBill which is known to some.
Maybe more people can see it and use. And do a little searching on their own and if they have further questions post it on this forum or others.

UPDATE: thanks to MrBill, we've found David!! It took over a year to track him down but if it weren't for the info MrBill we'd probably still be looking. There was a family reunion last weekend and we are looking forward to catching up more with him and his family that we'd never met. Thanks again MrBill!!!
