I recently learned I have a half-sister from my father (James Dye) before he married my mother.

We do not think our half-sister (her name is Gloria) took my fathers last name. We do not know Gloria’s mothers maiden name

We also think Gloria would have been born between 1928 and 1938;
perhaps in Woodstock, Illinois or Cedar Rapids, Iowa or maybe on the west coast.

We share the same grandparents and Gloria had contact with my grandmother, growing up.

Our grandmothers name was Daisy Johnson Dye ( Daisy lived in Elkhorn, WI) and Gloria would have visited her as a child.

We also think that Gloria had twin children and may have raised her family in the state of Washington.

any ideas here?
