I am looking for my fathers birth parents, they were from Maryland I believe and may have been Seventh Day adventists. My father was adopted by my grandparents, the Sawyer's, and they may have been friends with my dad's birth parents. We dont have many details. Both of my grandparents have passed on.
Any help would be appreciated! My dad was born in June 1947.

Do you know what part of Maryland? The Wash DC suburbs or other area?
Roscoe Bartlett is listed Cumberland, Maryland, but it looks like he passed away.

I did some cross referencing, and I found Congressman Roscoe Bartlett - his district is Frederick, MD and he is a Seventh Day Aventist and went to Washington Missionary College. The bio says his wife's name is Ellen though. Not sure if Ellen is a nickname for Blanche.

If this is NOT the person you are looking for, chances are good he might be a family member. You might want to check his website and send an email.
Good luck
