After doing genealogical researches for over 10 years I specialized in finding birth family to US German born adoptees. The GErman right is completely on the side of the adoptee so that it is quite easy to find the birth mother (often father US military man, not listed in teh adoption file) and half-siblings.
If you need assistance I will provide addresses and guide you in teh right direction.
If you have a name and date or place of birth I will be happy t use my connections to find that person.
