Where was Penny from--where did her parents live? What was she majoring in? What were her plans for after graduation? Was her real name Penny, or was that short for Penelope? Is there any chance that her last name was spelled differently than you remembered, i.e. Glatz? Did she have any siblings? What were their names? How about her parents names?

These are the sorts of data points you need to figure out and provide to help people help you track her down.

If I were you, I'd start with marriage records in the area where her parents lived when you knew her in college. Most people in the 1980s got married close to home, and if "Penny Glatts" isn't showing up in your searches for her name, it's likely that she is using a married name. But, her original name will be on marriage records, so start there.

Have you contacted Lehman College's alumni office? From their website: Lehman College - Alumni Relations: Frequently Asked Questions

"How can I contact a former classmate?
The Office of Alumni Relations does not give out personal information on our alumni. We will however, if you wish, contact the person(s) you are seeking, give them your information and let them know that you are interested in reconnecting with them."
