I am on a search for the death info & burial plot of my father-in-law's mother. Her name was Fannie Mae Booker (Dennison). She passed away in 1953. Any info on how to go about this search would be helpful.Thank you!

I am not sure if this is the right place to look. I would imagine that your county has death notices and the local cemeteries woiuld have related information.
The Social Security website has death notices that also might be helpful. Good luck!

If you know the approximate area, try researching newspaper archives from surrounding cities and areas. An obit with funeral home and burial info should be a good start.

You could try Cemetery Records Online or Find A Grave - Millions of Cemetery Records

If you have an idea of where she passed away (state or maybe county) there are other online resources.

Smile Thank you!

Thank you for all your good information! I was able to locate her obit & find out where & when she was buried. It took a while, but I found it! Thank you all again!
