I have never done this before, so bare with me. I am looking fo my brother, Jim Jung. I have not seen him in over 20 years and have not talked to him in over 15 years. The last place I know him to be is in California, Los Angles and Orange county area. He just truned 53 and grew up in Illinois, Chicagoland area. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it. I realize this is a long shot, but I thought it was worth a shot.

I found 163 by that name in the entire US.
You might have to sit down and just start calling. I know you can print up a listing of all the names and check them off as you have spoken with them.
I had to do this for a friend of mine.
I would also ask the person if they know your brother, even if that particular family isn't the one your looking for.
Additional information would be helpful. You say he just turned 53, so I am supposing his birthday is in 1955. I found a James Martin Jong list who was born in 1955 living in the Michigan area. Does that sound right? When was his birthday (exact date)? If you don't want to post too much private info, you can e-mail me or do a private message to me. You can do either by clicking on my name and choosing the link for e-mail or private message. I need things like full name, full birthdate, other members of his family, last known city and state.

I hope it is not him, but I found one on rootsweb born January 26, 1953 who just died last year, March 15, 2007. He is James L. Jung and his Social Security number was issued in Illinois. You can find the information on the Social Security Death Index search on rootsweb. Please let us know on this site if either of these two people are him so people can either continue helping you search or so that they will know you have found him and stop searching.

I just thought anyone reading my inquiry about my brother should know, that I have located him, sort of. I know he is alive, or at least he was in Sept. 2007. He was last seen in Fontana, California. He skipped out on his parole officer, first meeting, and has been on the run. If he gets caught again, he will be back in the prison system. Thank you for all your help.
