Hey,

I'm looking for information about Thomas Dillon of Ohio. Where he was from, family, anything really.

He was convicted of killing 5 people and suspected in as many as 11 murders in the early 90's. One of the men he murdered was a close friend of mine.

I recently learned Dillon was no longer in a regular Ohio prison and transfered to State Hospital of some kind.

I don't really know what I'm looking to learn but I'll take what I can get.

Thanks

Where did you hear this?

Go to Offender Search and put in his last and first name. You'll see that he's still incarcerated.

If you're still wondering, you can call the prison to verify it. Here is the info page with Warden's name and phone number: Southern Ohio Correctional Facility

I read an article on him from the crime library (trutv). A former high school buddy turned informant said that he had lived in Magnolia, OH with his family. You can put in his name in any search engine and read several articles on him. He was also called the Hunter of Humans. Sad story. I am sorry that you lost someone special to a senseless crime.

Thank You,

I have read many of the the on line articles. I know a lot about the actual crimes and his involvement but not much about his personal life.

He murdered my best friend Kevin in cold blood in 1990.

I recently read something by Dillon's son who thought his Dad was treated unfairly by the media and criminal system.

That sort of re-peaked my interest in Dillon and the case.

He's no longer in prison and in a medical facility of some kind. I have the address and info but he's never answered correspondence in the past.

I was hoping to learn more about the man and his family.

Why?

I don't know. I just feel the need to know more about him.

My Father was one of the men murdered by him; Im pretty sure my family is supposed to receive updates of any changes that happen. I don't think we've heard of anything like that happening.

Our system is not as well run as many of us believe. I would get in touch with the prosecutor asap.

scorpy01 is correct. He is in the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility with a sentence of 150 years minimum and maximum of life. His first parole board hearing is in April 2158. If he makes it that long, he will be 107 years old when he is eligible for parole. Scorpy even gave you the link to the number for the prison. What makes you believe he is in a state hospital?

here is the SOCF link; Southern Ohio Correctional Facility

I couldn't find him with the offender search link. I used Stark as his residence county and Scioto as his incarceration county. Prisoner number A277618, zip code and PO box number at prison-45699 I don't have any other information on him. I selected APA Supervision and Name options. Here is a link to that page. it is a subpage of the SOCF website.

I just spoke to someone at the prison and Susan 13202 is correct. He will be there to expected date of release 2158. That person also told me there is no state hospital in Ohio.
