Your searc did turn up the william lyons i was searching for.he was born 2/15/1940. I need to find the obituary for him.if yo can help please email me...thanks for your help

The obit isn't available in my database, but I found it available for a fee at the Columbia SC newspaper, TheState.com

Go to archives and type in William Lyons. When the page opens with 471 hits, switch the search option to "return best matches first" and click the search button. Result number 6, title says SOUTH CAROLINA OBITUARIES ALLEN - LYONS. When you click on that, that's when you have to register and pay to read it. It gives the date of the obit as May 27, 2003 so I'm confident it's the right person.

Thank you for your help.I found the obituary and as sad as it is for my friend he can now put some closure to it. He also found that he has a brother and sister and they have since made contact. Again Thanks alot
