I'm looking for my biological father or his family. He left when my mom was pregnant with me and I have never met him. I know his name is Eugene Smith and he was born on March 11, 1944. They were married in Trousdale County Tennessee on October 29, 1966. My sister was born on September 19, 1967 and I was born on Sept. 3, 1969. I believe he may have been originally from Florida but I'm not 100% sure about that. It's such a common name that I'm having trouble finding any more information. I believe he may have passed around Sept 2012 but believe I have siblings from other relationships. I have tried Ancestry.com and Archives. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks. I will look into this one. It's such a common name that I'm having a difficult time finding the right one. I found a SS Death Index with the date of death 9/30/12 with the same DOB so not sure which one may be the right one. My mom and her siblings and parents have all passed away so I have no one left to get any additional information.
Well I found my father's family. He did pass away in September 2012. I spoke to his sister on the phone yesterday. I found out that I have 4 half siblings. Two was born before me with his first wife who's name was Jane Shadowens. They call the girls Frankie and Sissy I believe. I have a brother and sister younger than me who are twins. They were born in 1974. I don't know their mother's name yet. I believe they may all still be in TN. Any help locating them too would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone for your help!!
