Like she said, your dad's approximate age helps with the search. If you have no clue, then tell us your mom's age and that gives us a general range. Do you know anywhere else he has lived, besides Arizona? (like where he met your mom?)
And please don't give out your dad's social security number to strangers. You can chech the SS Death Index yourself to make sure he isn't on it, but other than that, safeguard it like you would your own.

everything ive said is all i know. i just found out five years ago when i was fourteen that my step dad isnt my real dad when my mom slipped up and said it. i dont know anything really, everything i do know i found out from my moms old military id card that has his name & ssn and their divorce papers.
Is your mom Yvonne Robin Simmons? If so, your dad is Philip Lewis Simmons, 1 L in the Philip and the Lewis is the correct spelling on this site. The divorce papers were filed 12/18/91. The final order date was 4/10/92.
On the drop down menu, choose Virginia Beach Circuit. Click Begin.
Click the Civil. I put in Simmons, Phil then clicked Search By Name and it came up.
His date of birth should be on those divorce papers. His age should be on your birth certificate.

Thank you so much & yes thats my mom. i was jus about to post and say its one L and they got married on oct 4 1989 in myrtle beach and divorced on april 10 1992 in virginia beach.
and i never even noticed his name on my birth cirtificate. his birthday is september 24 1964 and he was born in mississippi.
