I AM TRYING TO FIND A MAN NAMED DONALD CRABTREE FROM LAFAYETTE, NY WITH WHOM MY GRANDMOTHER WAS FRIENDS WITH DURING WWII. I HAVE SEVERAL WONDERFUL AND FUN PICTURES OF THIS CHARMING MAN AND WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO SEND THEM TO HIM OR HIS FAMILY. HE WAS IN THE NAVY AND IS IN UNIFORM IN THESE PICTURES. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I was at my cousin's house tonight, Robert Crabtree, for a xmas party and he told me of your forum here. He also showed me the pictures you sent. One of them had my dad in it as well. My Uncle Don and my dad and their sister were always close and as a family we are still very close today. They didn't have it easy growing up and they relied on each other for everything. It was fun to see the pictures as most of the ones I have are of later years with them and my cousins, etc. Robert gave me copies and I have it framed in my house - with my dad, my uncle and my aunt gone now they are nice to have. Merry Christmas!
