I am searching for my mom's biological father. We don't have much info on him at all. Especially now that my grandmother has passed away. His name is James Lee, we believe he was in the marines, he was based at Crane Navel base in Crane, In, then was sent to Puerto Rico. He is originally from somewhere in Ohio. He was sent to Puerto Rico while my grandma was pregnant with my mom. When my grandma told him she was pregnant she never heard from him again. My grandma never talked much about James, but she did tell my mom this little bit of info. My mom would love to find him! I know the chances are slim since we don't have much info, but I figure its worth a shot!
I will try and email the Naval base and see if I can get any info that way. I did forget to mention his age, he would be in his mid 70s now. I'm not sure if he would have came back to Indiana after being stationed in Puerto Rico or if he would have went back to Ohio since that where he was originally from.
i did a search and left the state out. so it's pulling up all james lees in the US. the information is not always up to date and the ages are not always correct. but it is a place to start. if you think one of the may be him, then i would check the on-line white pages for that address to try and get a phone number.
How old was James daughter! Could he have been the army!
