No, I don't know him. Just using public records. If the information is still valid, could you come back to the site and let us know how you made out? That way they can resolve this thread. We also like to hear that it worked out for you. If it is not the same one, come back and let us know and we'll keep searching. Good luck.

Default please help

i have the information to call my biological father but i don't know how to tell him. he don't know i exist. my mother didn't want me to know that john greene is my father. i've known since i was a teenager. she told my best friends mother and father and swore to them she was going to tell me when i was 18. i had to ask her and she said it was a lie. she admited to dating him. they graduated from the same school and he's friends with the dad i grew up with. i'm 43 years old and i just want to know the truth. what should i do ? how should i start the conversation ?? i don't want to upset him ?

Tamlynn, just be very honest and tell him exactly what you know and wait for his reaction. Also ease his mind right away with telling him your intentions for contacting him after all this time. Calls like this out of the blue make some people question the validity of the call.
My cousin who was given up for adoption at birth contacted my Aunt and Uncle and they were very skeptical at first and asked loads of qeustions so don't get offended. Good Luck!

Tamlynn,
Why didn't you just say it was your biological father in the first place rather than a family friend? I would have helped you anyway had you said biological father?
And second, keep in mind this may not be the right person. John Greene is a very common name. You will have to establish that he even knows your mother, ever lived wherever she was. You will have to establish that he graduated from Sanford HS in 1964. So when you call him, if he says that you have the wrong person, with a name like John Greene that is so common, he could be right.
But good luck to you. I hope he is the right person. Come back and let us know.
